I am a creative!!!

Whoo-hoo!

I have big news to share with you in the next days! Last week I decided to try to apply to some CT calls made by a few designers whom I really love the work of. I honestly thought none of them would have accepted me in their creative teams. I don't feel I am that good at creating layouts yet, though I got really addicted to this hobby. And when I see some creations by designer's teams I always feel "ahhh" and "ohhh" because they do some incredible work. Well, I was wrong! I got accepted by.... you curious? I can't tell you everything yet but I have big news.

Let's start with the first news. Scrapberry Designs welcomed me in her team! She is a very talented designer and I am so happy for this chance she gave me. Can't wait to work with her wonderful kits and try to inspire you all!
Right now she has an awesome kit called "In a Girl's World" that is on sale from today at pretty scrappy.

I created two layouts with this extremely versatile kit, could you tell I used the same kit for both layouts if I wouldn't tell? They are so different one from the other!

The template of this last one is a creation of my dear friend 3s_enough at midnightscrapping. Check out her blog, too!

And now what are you still doing here? Go grab Scrapberry Designs' new kit, you can pick it up through the weekend for 40% off! And while you are there have a look at the old kits as well, there's one that coordinates perfectly with this one!

I will be back in a few days, since it's my birthday on Monday I will be away for the week-end, and when I'll be back I'll share more of my news!!

December Stuff To Scrap Blog Train means freebie time!!!

Good morning everybody! Well, maybe as you are reading it's not morning, but it is over here!
December has arrived, isn't it incredible? This year has gone by way too far, really.
Anyway let's stop babbling! As you could guess from the title it's that time of the month again, the STS designers and forum ladies prepared another wonderful blog train for you all. This month's theme is obviously Christmas, and to be more precise "Homespun Christmas". My contribution is a paper pack and a glitter border. But this month you will get so many different things from the ladies if you get aboard! Alphas, papers, kits, quickpages, advent calendars, Christmas cards and what else! What a great variety of gifts! Remember they are all free for 15 days, so hurry up!
Here's the preview of my freebie:

Couple layouts

So how's your week going? Mine was okay till this morning. Then I had quite a sad experience at lunch time and now I have an awful headache. Can't wait to go home from office and take some pills/aspirin and go to bed. Two more hours unless my headache gets even worse.
While I am here sitting at my desk with nothing to do I thought I could at least show you my last layouts.

The first one was made for the color challenge at Stuff to Scrap. The colours were black, white and red. It was a challenge for me because I have heaps of red kits but no blacks or whites so I had to do a mix of several ones and be creative with the picture. And because I wanted to also do a useful layout I made one which will go into my cruise album. This is me in Helsinki (the one with the red jacket if you are still wondering!).

The second layout was made for The Animal Kingdom Challenge at DigiScrapObsession. This month we had to do a layout about the 3 things we love about our pet. I cheated, I put 4 in! Anyway, I am really happy with the result. It was tough to take the photo of my grey cat cleaning the youngest one!

Couple of layouts and freebie reminder

Good morning! Monday again, are you ready? The past week went by very fast, time flied away and still flies. The end of the year is almost here, I can't believe I have to start thinking of Christmas presents again!
Last week wasn't very productive layouts-wise but I'll show you what I did anyway.

First layout is for Stuff To Scrap's Word of the Week Challenge. The word to use or create a layout about was "Fall". I scrapped my cats in a picture that had perfect fall colours.

Second layout was again for a Stuff to Scrap challenge, November 16th Challenge a Day: create a layout about "family". I live with my mother but have no pictures with her so I decided to go with my brother's family.

Last, a reminder of my last freebie. Digifree didn't pick up my last post, I hope it gets this one so nobody will lose the freebie if they want it. Here's the preview again of the paper pack I prepared for Kim's Color Challenge at Digiscrap Obsession this month.

Some more STS challenges' layouts!

Yesterday I was in a scrapping mood again, but not really related to my cruise album, which is going on very slowly unfortunately.
Both challenges were real ones for me, because I am not used to leave so much blank space as it was required in both of them.

First layout is for November Scraplift Challenge at Stuff to Scrap and it's my boyfriend drinking a cup of espresso coffee just before docking Tallinn (so yes, this is a picture of the cruise but I can't put this layout with this wordart in the album!!).

Second layout is for yesterday's Challenge a Day, we had to do a layout with a lot of "white" space. This is what I did for it, starring my youngest kitten Pulce.

That's all for today, talk to you soon with a new freebie!
