What a busy week-end I had! Last lunch until the New Year with some friends who are leaving on holiday and lots of walking for shopping. And we didn’t even find the right presents and still need a walk! I don’t know why honestly…

But let’s be short! Today I have the latest releases by both LDrag Designs and Little Green Frog Designs to show you.

Lina released a kit I was asking her to create since last year! A sparkling New Year’s kit. I really searched a lot for a nice New Year’s kit but found none I liked, SO FAR! Let’s have a look at what Lina created for me!

What’s up out there? Here the weather is getting worse, today it’s much colder than yesterday and there’s snow in the air. Not that it’s gonna snow anyhow here on the sea, not in early November, but you can feel if it’s snowing in the mountains behind the city. And I think if we are getting rain, then they are getting snow up there! Well, I don’t need to go out in the week-end if it’s bad weather, I’ll just stay in bed, relax, watch a movie and make sure to have a cup of hot tea by my side! What are your plans? Any shopping? Hi there!

As you are all noticing I am not scrapping a lot lately. The season change probably sets me down even more than my mood. When I come home from work it’s already night outside and I just wanna sit down and relax, watching TV, whatever. But I don’t really feel like spending time at the computer and concentrating on some pages. I don’t know how it works for you, but for me, scrapping sure requires concentration. I am not so creative that the page comes out on its own, if you know what I mean. That’s also one of the reasons why I love templates so much, they are a great starting point for me! That said, of course I scrapped with a template! One of the newest releases by Little Green Frog Designs to be precise. Here you go!

It’s Friday!

Yay! It’s Friday and I have a looong week-end ahead! As Tuesday is holiday we’ll be closed on Monday as well. I’m loving extra days off esp. when I can have them next to the week-end! Tomorrow we’ll go to some kind of Comicons with some friends and I hope it will be funny, not raining and warm enough because it will be all outside in the streets of an entire city! I just painted my nails Tiger Man style, I’ll show you next time, they are so cool! I’ve never been a comics lover but I sure was a cartoon addicted when I was a kid and even in the early teenage years!

There’s a new designer in town from tomorrow! My friend Laura got into the swing of designing under the name of Priss Designs. Her creations are amazing, you can trust me because I saw her first kits and they are so elegant! She’s a very talented lady and all-around-artist. Her scrapping abilities are unique and really amazing. Her pages always tell a story, they are wonderful fairytales for her daughters. I really wish her the best into this designing adventure :)

My poor neglected blog! I don’t seem like I can be so present lately. My 2011 resolutions of posting twice per week were probably broken now that I look back through the whole year which is almost over believe it or not. Let’s hope next year will be a happy and luckier one because this one honestly wasn’t all that great on this point of Earth.

Today I’ll show you two layouts that I made over the last week, I don’t feel so much like scrapping and you might understand. I am terribly tired lately when I come at home. So many problems in my mind that really knock me out. But let’s look at something happier, shall we?

First I am hosting again a Grand Theft Layout Challenge over at ScrapMatters, I know it’s late but I’d love it if you join me by the end of the month!

Believe it or not, I am back! Well, I came home last week actually but I have some problems settling back to the usual routine! Last week I seemed to do so much and yet I had no time for scrapping or anything else. How’s that happening after only two weeks away? Should I mention the weather changed right when we came back? We were so lucky to have hot temps and sun with us all vacation long. But the first day back in Italy rain was waiting for us! The temperatures cooled down all at once so we had to change the wardrobes from summer to winter clothes. As I hadn’t enough settling back. Phew.

But let’s stop babbling kk? I actually scrapped one page. Yes, one page in a week. And I made it for the Roadmap to Scrap challenge of 10/14 at ScrapMatters. The directions were so interesting that I had to give it a try! And this is the final result using pics from this vacation :) I’m really proud of it because it’s quite different from my usual clustered pages!

Hi everyone and happy Monday!

The weather has gone worse over here, it has rained cats and dogs all over the night and it still is. The temperatures went down a lot but we are meant to have some remains of summer soon after this wave of bad weather. Not that I’ll enjoy them for long because next Monday I’ll be leaving for vacation, yay! Finally :)

You didn’t think to see me so early, did you? Surprise! My bf is still driving to get here so I have about 20 more minutes that I’ll use for blogging and telling you what’s new this week-end from my lovely bosses aka designers Lina (LDrag Designs) and Andrea (Little Green Frog Designs). Let’s go!

Little Green Frog Designs released a couple new templates packs, this time they are all multi photos so I challenged myself to use at least one pack even if you know I’m not that good at scrapping more than one or two pics at once. I’m quite happy of the result though and I submitted it for this month’s Travel challenge at ScrapMatters. You know the drill, double points, and always fun. As you see I also play challenges when I do not host them!

Challenges at ScrapMatters in September!

Hi everyone! How are you doing? I’m having a tough week and it’s only Monday, can you believe that? Can’t wait for the 26th of the month to be here!

Anyway, I just wanted to tell you again about ScrapMatters doubling all the points for challenges for the whole month so jump in and join us! I already did two more pages for a couple challenges, and actually I’m hosting them both ROFL. I’d so much love you to play along with me :)

Hi everyone!

Have you missed me? I am back from my two weeks sty-cations and though I wasn’t feeling well yesterday night I actually scrapped! Well, at the end my eyes were crying for the migraine, but I am quite pleased of my page!

While on staycation I took care of my bf’s home being the almost perfect housewife and I hardly ever turned the computer on. Now I have so much stuff to check! What happened during this couple weeks? As first thing I saw what my designers created while I was kinda away. And wow! Both Lina and Andrea released some awesome stuff! That’s why I couldn’t go to bed: I needed playing with those goodies!

Hi everyone!

I really hope you’re well! I’m enjoying my summer holidays just by relaxing. And in the meanwhile I’m looking around to get ideas for my vacation in September. So far I’ve spotted a fantastic cruise visiting the Greek islands, 11 days long, or either a week in Crete. What would you prefer? I’m still searching for more options but these both look good! Aaaand… talking about vacation I want to show you my last layout! I made it for the 5/8 Roadmap to Scrap challenge at ScrapMatters, loved the directions to follow! I even got a GSO for it, so proud of myself!

Great memories! I’d love to go back to Egypt one day in the future.

In Living Color challenge at ScrapMatters

Hi ladies (and gents?)!

I am officially on summer holidays for the next two weeks but I won’t have much scrapping time during this period. I am also not at home right now and don’t have access to all my scrapping stuff. But you’ll hear from me, don’t worry!

What about you and your week-end? Did you join the ScrapMatters 4th birthday’s celebration? I hope you haven’t missed it! I saw there were a lot of new faces around which is just awesome because that place is really great to hang out at. I love the friendly attitude!

Hi everyone! I’m quite happy today because after 5 days of rain there’s finally the sun shining bright outside. Perfectly timing for the week-end! Woot! Any special plans for you all? We are going out for lunch with some friends who don’t live near us on Sunday. We meet each other only 3 or 4 times during the year so we are always excited when the time comes! I wish we had more time to meet our faraway friends more often because we happen to have quite a lot actually. Well, to be honest we have more friends who live faraway from us than we have living nearby! Such a shame. Anyway, you’re not here to read my rambling I guess.

I have a couple new releases to show you, and since this week was a bit depressing for me due to rain, two releases = one layout!

Roadmap to scrap

Hi ladies!

Today I’m gonna show you a layout that I did for 7/22 RTS challenge over at ScrapMatters. I must admit it was the first time I jumped into this challenge because I was always scared not to have the right elements or that the instructions would be too difficult to follow. But honestly? I was kinda stupid because I love speed scraps and RTS is like a slow speed scrap if you know what I mean! So even easier than that because you have all the time you need!!! I will definitely play more from now on! Anyway, I’d love if you’d join us there! And this is the layout, since I used a lot of Mix-a-Kit pieces I won’t list them all here, but you can find it all in the gallery credits, just click on the picture!

That is my brother’s new kitten, isn’t he super cute? And I’ll just show you one piece that I used, the alpha, because I totally fell in love with it, and as you know I don’t really use alphas so often because I have a long way ahead to learn how to do titles! But this was a short one, LOL!

Hi ladies! I hope you are all well this Monday, we all know how hard Monday can be! Plus, over here it has been raining the past night and this morning and the temperature went way down. Gotta hate that in (almost) August! Fortunately now the sun is trying to peek out of the clouds and it heats almost immediately. The forecasts are not good anyway, they said it will keep changing from good to bad weather daily for about 10 days. The good thing is… in 10 days I’ll be on holidays! Nothing special actually, I’ll stay home from work but I’m not going anywhere on vacation.

But let’s talk something else! Lina (LDrag Designs) released a super funny kit last Friday which I am sure will be a bestseller of her!

Luckily I have no sick kiddos at home, and I don’t get sick very often, except for migraines. So I am going to show you how versatile this kit is!

For my template I used again this set by geniaBeana, as I told you when I show you the first time, I really adore this set and I’m going to use everything in it! And more of each, I’m sure!

Hi everyone! I promised you would have heard from me sooner this week and here I am! Outside the temps are outrageous so I can only stay inside if I don’t plan on melting down completely! Inside means I have time to spend at the computer though, right? Great! And so I am doing!

Today I’m showing you a couple layouts for some challenges I joined over at ScrapMatters and first I hope you’ll like them, second I’d be really glad to see you pop in there and join us, too!

Let’s start from July 6th Grand Theft Layout Challenge. I am hosting this challenge and I picked the amazing Trista aka scrappyt to lift. I’d be really really happy if you play with me!

Both kits I used are amazing and I plan on using them again! First I love their alphas and had no chance to use them in my layouts so I need to use them! And the elements are fantastic, want more, want more! You’ll definitely see more inspiration soon!

Now I gotta go to work, ouch, I can’t even think of the walk between the house door and the car under 35°C / 95°F!!!!! And I parked in front of the court, go figure.

Hi everyone and sorry again for posting on Monday instead of Friday! Week-ends are busy as usual and I have to run, run, run! I guess I am the only one who does not scrap during week-ends. All the other ladies I seem to know wait for those days to finally sit down and take some time for their favourite hobby! Oh well, since I’m late already I won’t babble any longer!

Lina of LDrag Designs has this gorgeous kit new at ScrapMatters and she’s giving the extra alphas free with purchase until Thursday.

July 1st? Mix a Kit with the ScrapMatters designers!

Can you believe it’s July already? Well, if I look at the sun shining outside and I feel the breeze and the HOT weather then yes, I can make myself a reason that it’s July! Otherwise eek! It’s unbelievable that we are past the first half of the year! I feel like I did nothing but work during the past 6 months.

Fortunately scrapping has helped me not going crazy insane! Being a member of SM CT during these months was a huge plus for sure! Anyway, not gonna talk about that.

As you some months ago ScrapMatters started its own Mix a Kit offer. All designers work on the same colour palette and offer you pieces that you can mix and match to create your own full mini or mega kit! On the 1st of each month the pieces are released for a small price. That’s the perfect time for some shopping!

A couple of days ago I put my hands on two of the Mix-a-Kit pieces by Lina of LDrag Designs. The patterned papers and those ellies are amazing!

Are you sick of the new week already? I must say I am quite relaxed today fortunately. This is such a stressing period that I needed to keep quiet and take some time for myself only. And so I did, slowing down what I had to do instead of hurrying up as usual. No need to always run, right? Great!

Hi everyone!

The weather is getting cloudy for the week-end over here but it’s still very hot outside. I’m still at work with a couple hours to go but it’s calm today and I can even blog! ScrapMatters challenges + eye candies!

Hi everyone!

Yes I know I’ve said multiple times over the year that I wanted to be a better blogger. Unfortunately it’s being rather impossible for me this year. Life is crazy busy and at work the busiest season doesn’t seem to end yet. Have I told you already? Then I must get older, sorry!

All in all I had a good week last week though! I’ve had a girls night out last Wednesday with some late night chat and the chance to see the Moon Eclipse from the beach. Well, I got there a little late to be honest so the moon was already coming back visible and no longer red. But still something nice to look at from the beach! Then I took Thursday morning off work because I really needed some me time. I went to the hairdresser as my hair were really screaming at me at that point. I needed a cut, colouring and some pampering! And after the hairdresser off for some shopping. What’s better than that?

During the week-end I also had the chance to go a couple hours to the beach. The weather was awesome, sunny but with that breeze that doesn’t boil you hot! I managed to get a little reddish on my skin even if I used some protection. It wasn’t even the worst time of the day but I am so pale that it was already too long eventually.

Anyway, today is the first official day of summer. Which means we are already past the half of the month. Again? Oh gosh. Again I’m late on all my scrapping stuff. I keep hoping the “next month” will be better.

But back to the subject, again I joined some challenges at ScrapMatters, and this month I picked all challenges where I could use some of my travelling pictures. Summer means vacation to me and since I am so busy at work I need an escape at least in my layouts!

So first of all I joined the template challenge hosted by Haynay Designs, single photo template? Here I come!

I used this collab kit by Jeanine De Ore and Elise’s Pieces that I found while browsing for travelling themed kits!

Then I had a look at the Travel Scraps challenge hosted by Melissa (yzerbear19) and what? Single photo challenge!!! Yay, that’s for me!

Again I used an older travelling themed kit which also happen to be another collab!

And since Haynay is such a great template designer, too, I also picked this set for my layout:

Sultry Summer

Hi everybody!

How are you all? I am recovering from a shocking week that made me feel like inside an episode of C.S.I. but I’m so glad it’s Friday and a nice week-end starts! Not that I have any big plans but you know I’m just happy with spending time with my bf and not going to work. That’s enough! I’m such an easy girl.

But let’s go on! Surprisingly enough I am showing you a new release on its release date again, yay for me!

Sultry Summer is the new collab kit by Lina of LDrag Designs together with Erica Zane at ScrapMatters. The add-on to this kit is also freebie inside the SM June Newsletter. It’s time for an escape

Yeah, I wished so! Unfortunately it’s just not the time for a real escape or a vacation. I seem to be busier and busier this year, even if I am trying to unload myself of extra stuff. That’s why I neglect my blog so often, I just can’t find the time for everything. And believe me, I wished I had more time!

Anyway, let’s go on. Again I am late showing you Friday’s new scrapbooking releases. Maybe you already saw them, otherwise here you are! Friday’s new releases

Hi there everyone!

Today’s a very hot one over here even if there’s no sign of sun, it’s all cloudy. Yesterday it has rained all day long and it was very humid. I honestly hope it won’t rain again today nor tomorrow. I want a summer being a summer, which means sunshine! Maybe some wind to smooth the hotness, but still shiny sky. Oh well.

Let’s move on. You know that Friday means new releases all around the digi world and I am sorry I am one day late showing you a couple great deals. But you are still in time to grab them as I think they’ll stay this way for a couple days.

Not a great week (still one new release to show you)

Hi ladies!

This week hasn’t been the best for me. It all began when I scratched my car last Friday, from then on what an awful week for me. On Friday night my brother’s kitten Mathilda disappeared. She was my brother’s but still one of the family for us because she used to spend more time in my home playing with my cats than at my brother’s home. After looking for her everywhere we found her on Wednesday, dead. I won’t go into details but it was the awful happening. I couldn’t think of a worse way to find her. My mother was shocked. She’s crying since then, even being an older lady, during our weekly yoga lesson she started crying even there. She has not slept for two days now. I hope time will help. Quickly.

Anyway, as you can guess I wasn’t in the mood to scrap at all. I tried doing the most different activities to keep me busy and not thinking. I’ve watched hilarious videos both on TV and on the net, I tried reading, I tried learning how to put on make-up. Nothing really worked. So I forced myself to scrap at least a page as a tribute for Mathilda and as a therapy for myself. But really, one page was what I was able to do since Friday, nothing more than that. I will be away for the week-end and I hope I will feel better on Monday when I come back home. Enough said.

This is my tribute to Mathilda, I wanted to cover her with flowers, like a funeral, if you are wondering why it is so overly cluttered.

Hi there everyone! I am still alive. Very busy but alive! I can’t believe I still have so much work in this time of the year. Usually it has calmed down by now, but not this year. Good for my bosses I guess, but me? I am exhausted! This evening I forced myself to scrap some pictures. I wanted to go to bed actually but I obliged myself to resist a little longer awake! So let’s show you what I did, okay?

First up I jumped in the latest template challenge and did this page:

I used a kit that has been in my wish list like forever and I finally had the chance to play with!

Then I probably hadn’t enough of spring colours because I picked this amazing monochrome kit by geniaBeana:

And with all these amazing goodies I put together this page for no particular challenge or event, just because I’m in love you know :)

Since we are talking ScrapMatters awesomeness, I’m showing you another layout which I never got around to post, don’t really know why! For the first time I joined the Extreme Makeover challenge. It’s not a challenge I usually take part in because every time I try to re-do a page it doesn’t look so much better than the old one. Maybe because seeing the old one kinda drives me out of my usual scrapping comfort. Not sure! Anyway, this time I did it! Mermaid Fantasy

Hi again! Let’s talk of some new releases! As you might know Lina of LDrag Designs is Greek. Both our cultures, Greek and Roman, are really ancient and the love for mythology is probably in our veins. I remember reading mythology books (for children, made into stories) since I was about 8, and I knew all the names of the Gods and Goddesses both for the Romans and Greeks (same divinities, different names). Lina must be a lover of mythology as well because this kit is inspired by an ancient legend about Alexander the Great and all the mermaids being in love with him!

You already saw some of my Egypt vacation pictures so you know we did some snorkeling there so what’s best than this kit to scrap those underwater photos?

The template is by Little Green Frog Designs if you are wondering! Here’s a preview of the entire pack. It’s a must have, again. This one works both if you are a single photo or multi photo scrapper. More than that, you can use the same template for one, two, three or even four picture and nobody will probably notice it’s the same template if you are smart enough! How clever is that? I missed yesterday’s post because my bf was here and we went out for dinner, only the time for a quick shower between the office and the restaurant and no time to blog! ScrapMatters’ Mix a Kit

Hi everyone!

I’ll be short and sweet today because it’s not a good day for me. Fortunately it’s soon over and a new better day will come tomorrow! Or at least I hope so!

From the beginning of May ScrapMatters has a new feature called “Mix a kit”. You might have seen this thing in other store and it was way the time that ScrapMatters had its own! You know the drill: same colour palette for all designers and each of them creates some packs, kits, alphas, elements, whatever, with that same scheme. In the end you can mix and match the things you like best from each designer and create your own mini or mega collab kit! The first colour palette was gorgeous and I was quite sorry that I couldn’t play with it as soon as it was released. So today I decided it was the time for me to play! I only picked the parts from Lina of LDrag Designs this time, and matched them with a template by Andilynn Designs, not from the Mix a Kit though. Will play with more designers as soon as I get a little more time. Life is incredibly busy at the moment and I strive to get to the end of the day. And when I get out of work the only thing I’d love to do is going to bed, immediately!

Anyway, let’s have a look at my creation!

Saturday and Sunday shopping!

Hi there everyone and happy Monday! It’s 2.30pm over here and I am still half asleep and would rather be at home scrapping or internet surfing than being at work but alas! Today I am going to show you my latest shopping spree! I was looking for a pale yellow nail polish which is supposed to be a trend for the summer but I couldn’t find what I was looking for. Instead I bought very different colours and something more!

The upper column is 4 polishes by Kiko, the colours are two greens, a taupe and a purple/greige. They are from a limited edition and I was quite happy I could find them. Then from the lower column I finally found the Essence Express Dry Drops which I’ve been looking for for ages! I tried them immediately yesterday evening but since the polish I put on was new I can’t really say if the polish dried fast itself or the drops really helped! Then I got a top and base coat by Essence, from the Better Than Gel edition. I’ve heard wonders about the top coat but I couldn’t find it anywhere. So when I finally saw it on Saturday I decided to get two bottles. Right? Not! I took a base coat instead of a top coat :( But the shop is too faraway from home to change it. I guess I’ll just use the base coat after mine is ended. Then bottom right I got the Most Wanted colour from Essence. I read every nail blogger loving it so I got it, even if I am scared the colour is too dark for my taste. I guess I’ll check that myself. Finally I got that corrector pen again by Essence. Not sure how it’s meant to be used but I’ll learn it!

And finally on Sunday I got a new red dress, somewhat 60/70s style maybe?

I am not a total fan of red but I must admit it is the colour that matches best my skin tone so I get some red stuff every now and then! And this dress is totally cute once worn! Gotta go now, I’ll be back later today or tomorrow with some unposted nail polishes swatches!

Roadmap to scrap challenge at ScrapMatters

It’s time for more challenges at ScrapMatters! You know how much I love their challenges, they were my favourite even prior to enter their CT and I tried to enter them as often as I could. Same now of course! Kelli (kellig) is the hostess of the new RTS challenge and I must admit I had never played this one. It’s like a speed scrap, only slower since you can do it whenever you want! Kelli picked some steps or ingredients for you to follow and you have to complete a layout following the “rules”. Plenty of time to finish up your page since the deadline for this challenge is the end of the month! The steps this week were so funny that I had to try this challenge myself! And here’s the layout I came up with, linked for full credits!

Having a bad day?

No, not me! Week-ends can’t be bad! I did some shopping (new nail polishes, ya ya, photos coming!) and I am now taking a little break while my bf gets a shiatsu massage to relax! So you see, nothing bad!

Hi again! Being a CT member in a big store as ScrapMatters is you can guess I saw a lot of stuff this week. Gorgeous stuff you know, everybody preparing beautiful grab bags for the big event. I didn’t know where to start grabbing but I ended up having no time at all this week for extra playing. So what did I do? I put almost every new release in my wish list ROFL. What a huge amount of goodies ladies! The list of the new releases is incredibly long and to die for! Thursday evening I happened to have a couple hours for myself and I decided to play with at least one new iNSD releases. And I picked up a kit, a template pack and a stitches pack, all by Jady Day Studio. Her kits continue to surprise me, I so love her style!

And this is what I got of them all:

Honestly, you can be one who does not use templates, I know a few out there don’t like using them. But the kit and the stitches pack are a must have in my opinion. Those are two items you should really put in those carts by tomorrow! And happy shopping again!

I must admit the first polish I tried of my latest shopping trip was the Essence duochrome Where is the Party? And I loved it! I think this might me my new favourite honestly. Application was easy, drying time was pretty acceptable, I only used two coats just to cover the nail. Unfortunately the weather wasn’t friendly as I’ve told you, so the pics are quite dark. I think this would really pop under the sunshine!

Anyway, this polish is a duochrome between dark purple/violet and dark green, with dark grey tones in the middle.

Here you can perfectly see all the colours! The pinkie is violet, the ring and index are green, while the middle finger shows them both! Did I mention I’m loving it?

Well, it looks like somewhere it’s officially spring and there’s sun shining bright. Not here honestly, it has rained since Easter’s Saturday you know, and it’s still raining. I wore one of my new polishes and I couldn’t take any good picture of it to show you because it’s too dark to get any decent pic. Plus, it’s really sad to look outside at the dark grey clouds and think it’s almost May. It should be sunny!

Well, at least Steph of ScrappyCocoa could see the sun on her side of the world and brought to store a brand new hope-y kit!

Hello everyone!

We are having some bad weather over here, it’s raining since Easter’s Saturday and when it does not rain it’s still cloudy and dark. Let’s hope May will bring some sunshine! Can you believe it’s by the door already? I must say April really flied. But then again, it was obvious because I had so much to do, so much to work, I have been so busy, that I hardly noticed days passing by. That could be a good point or not, right?

Anyway, today I am not going to talk about digital scrapbooking. Yesterday evening I was thinking that this blog is about me, and what I love, and love doing. And what I love is not limited to scrapbooking. I love travelling for example. That is my biggest passion, but not always possible obviously. Then I love reading. Since my bf and I still live in separate houses and even in different cities, when I go to him I take the train. And I always read some books during the train ride. I love shopping, which girl does not? My biggest points are shoes, bags and… nail polishes! Yes, I am a polish addicted. In summer I never wear “open” shoes (sandals, flip flops, whatever) if I don’t wear polish on my feet nails. Hands? Hands are a bit harder. I have strong nails usually, no need for fake nails or gel, and they look quite good. But in this season? It’s a chance to have long nails for me. When spring arrives the same thing happens every year: my nails begin breaking already when they are short. I use products that should heal them, but I just know the end of the book, so to say. I have to wait a little bit and then they’ll be good to go again. During this break while I can’t use polish I start lurking a lot of fellow nail polish addicted and look at their nails, at new colours coming, new brands. Love that kind of blogs where I can see the colours on real nails instead of seeing the bottle. Something the colour in the bottle really doesn’t match the real polish.

Anyway, yesterday late afternoon I was here at office and after seeing some more polish swatches online, esp. by The Laquerista, I had this big need of getting some new polishes! So when the work day finished I took my car, drove 40 mins to the city centre, and went to a store where I knew they had a couple cheap brands with awesome colours. You know, doing shopping doesn’t specifically mean you need to buy a 20$ bottle of polish. You can get 10 at 2$ each! You just need to know what to look for. There are cheap brands which are pretty good, and some that are just garbage. I knew what I was looking for! Catrice and Essence. And wow! I got to the store and they had plenty of these brands! I guess they just got the stuff honestly, because they are never so easy to find. There’s only a store over here that sells these brands, the nearest one is more than 1 hour drive. Anyway, I started picking a lot of bottles, and I really mean a lot, I was taking almost each different one in there! Then I realised my hands couldn’t carry so many. I double checked the bottles, put back some, took some new ones. Stayed there for 40 minutes staring and picking and choosing! And in the end I picked 16 bottles of nail polish! I am so glad my boyfriend doesn’t care if I buy so many, he’s just happy of my smiling face! I bought 8 bottles of Catrice, 7 bottles of Essence (among which a top coat, and a holographic coat) and 1 bottle of Sinful Colour, which is a new brand to me, but I fell in love with a colour and had to have it!

I will take a photo of my shopping bag to show you, yesterday it was too dark already when I got home so I wasn’t able to get a visible decent one. And then, I’ll try to show you all the colours when I’ll start trying them on. Since girls all over the net helped me picking my colours thanks to their swatches, I can only do the same in return!

I am so excited and nervous at the same time! I am hosting my very first challenge at ScrapMatters after having the honor of entering the creative team there. I wanted this challenge to be challenging for myself as well so I decided to go with something out of my comfort zone. Hello there everyone!

The sun is shining bright today although we were predicted bad weather and some rain for this Easter break. Too bad! But soo good to have one extra day off work of course! I still have 3,5 hours to go and then… PARTY!! No, seriously, no party for me! I will get the train as soon as I’ll get out of work and travel to my bf. But he will work despite the holiday or he’ll never be done with the remodelling of our soon-to-be apartment! I will only ask, pray him! to drive me out for some shopping tomorrow morning before all the shops close their windows!

Okay, now on to the fun stuff! As you know this week I haven’t been too creative but the last two days I could work with some stuff which was so gorgeous that I couldn’t honestly do any bad! ScrapMatters is the best place for shopping without doubt!

A blessed life

Hi everyone!

Me writing in the evening is almost an happening. Tonight I just don’t feel like scrapping at all. I either have a cold or the spring allergies have come because I can hardly breath and I sneeze and my nose is all messed up. When I feel like that it’s like having my head in the clouds, always a little tired and even exhausted at times. Same of the beginning of a flu if you get the idea! So what to do when you don’t feel like scrapping? First I catalogued some files and stuff I had downloaded but yet had to unzip. It’s almost done! Then I switched to one of my other hobbies: nail polishes! I searched ebay for some polishes I had in my wish list and finally made an order for 4 of them plus a new top coat. My mother will be mad with me when she’ll see new stuff arriving since my stash is already too big for her! Different points of view mom, sorry! I needed some different colours for spring and summer! Can’t wait to see them! Although I must say my nails in this period are a nightmare, not sure if it’s spring or if it’s me but they just damage and chip and break even when they are short :( Gotta do something for them if I want to use my new polishes when they’ll be here!

Anyway, I don’t wanna bore you more than needed (ah!) and will show you the latest kit by Mye De Leon! You should know by now that Mye opened her brand new store at TheDigiChick last week and she will sell exclusive kits there that you won’t find at GP and SBB. Take a look at her first creation there!

Well, yes actually I’ve just arrived at work but I am a bit early so I can take 10 minutes for myself before I start working. There’s so much to do over here that it’s even hard to decide where to start from! Now I will show you Lina’s new kit, and will show you her new CT, too, which I hope you’ll welcome and you’ll be inspired by! When Lina told me she was almost ready with the new kit I asked her what was the theme. She told me it was a baby themed kit and that it might be tricky for me to work with it even it is was jam packed of stuff because it was a collab with her friend May of Siamese Studio. At that point I was both curious and very challenged to see it and work with it! Who said you can’t use a baby kit for something else? Phew!

It’s great, isn’t it? A challenge though. I must admit I had to pick a template to help myself, because I was already struggling with the photos, not to really worry about the composition as well. Happy Monday everyone! As you might have noticed I totally missed my Thursday and Friday new releases posts. I was away and not for a nice happening. My boyfriend’s grandma passed away and we headed up to his house for the funeral. It wasn’t so bad as expected because almost everyone is adult in the family and could realise this was the end of a long pain for her. But still this kind of events are never happy nor funny obviously.

Now I am back home and will try to catch up with all the latest scrapping news and announcements, there’s so much in the air! I guess spring is the time for something new and for changes, even in the world of digital scrapbooking! Anyway, you’ll understand later what I mean! Lately I am also trying to do some more layouts that look like paper scrap or at least that are more simple than my usual pages full of clusters. I love clusters don’t get me wrong, but I also want to try and experiment something new! Might be the spring air!

Hello there! How’s life on Friday? Gotta love week-end & good weather, what a perfect match! I won’t go into details but this Monday is not a happy one. It can be that we have some major money problems and I don’t really know where this will bring us. Us being my bf and me. If anyone has some positive thoughts/vibes to send this way, they will be very appreciated. I don’t feel like talking about it yet though. It will come a day when I will need to shout it out eventually, just not today.
